Soaring Gas Prices

I see only one solution to cope with these soaring gas prices. I think that we should stop driving everywhere and try walking. It's unbelievable how lazy people are becoming these days. Although many people around Boston already use the T on a daily basis, I think this is another definate solution to our problem. Public transit has always been a great alternative to driving. It's cheap, it doesn't pollute the environment, and it could ultimately replace gas operated cars. All I'm asking is that we just take a walk, and conserve our fuel.

U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Surpasses 1,800

As we all already know, the death toll in Iraq is ascending at a higher rate than Vietnam. This makes me wonder how Bush got the idea to go into Iraq. It is really quite strange. Could it have been just an action made just to feel like he had done something to counteract terrorism? Or could it have just been revenge for trying to kill his pop? Or even these two reasons combined? I'm pretty sure he knows that he made a big mistake, and the only reason he didn't pull out of Iraq immediately was because he didn't want to feel like a complete moron, which he clearly is.
