I would have to go with Jarrett, the main reason being that Tatum, being as good as he was, never played anywhere meaningful. Jarrett, however, has played in many important places and is known by just about everyone.

I am glad for your enthusiasm but I have to admit that you are so wrong. Basing a statement like that on where somebody performed doesn't only not work in the favor of the person you prefer but it also makes you look like a total idiot. You must also remember that Art Tatum, being a person of color, could not have performed anywhere of meaning, due to the extreme segregation. Also, what's with the anonymour comment post? At least have the courage to reveal your identity when making a statement like that.
